Janice has had a profound influence on both my professional and personal lives.
In 1999 a 20 year long career in the homebuilding industry ended.
The message I received was "Although I had risen through the ranks to Vice President
the next step was not 'going to happen for a woman'. To be told this by a VP of
Human Resources was the end of my sense of fair play in a business I had invested
heart and soul in. So, with a good severance package and no overt 'ill will' I left.
The next two years were soul searching to say the least. I was lost without the passion
I had once had. With Janice's help a new mantra came into being- "Dreams Dared to Dream
Do Come True" despite fears and barriers along the way, trying something entirely new and
being an entrepreneur vs. a Corporate employee I found a new passion one that enabled me
to score beyond my wildest imaginings. I found both a spectacular income and a renewed
sense of confidence. The adventure continues today, with more twists and turns.
And my continued sessions with Janice at my side asking the hard questions and helping
me to focus on possibility vs. difficulty, alternatives and problem solving. While I
have already hit one plateau closing $54M worth of business in 2004 in a male/good ole'
boy field. I see this as the tip of the iceberg. I look forward to reaching the next
level with Janice's support and guidance. Janice is the pusher we all need to see our
possibilities without 'the fears' that hold us in mediocrity.
